Yes, there is soon to be a “bright golden haze on the meadow” as the Maltings Youth Theatre and Dance company bring to the Maltings stage one of the most popular musicals of all time - Oklahoma!

Featuring some of the best known tunes in the history of musical theatre, this show certainly has been a challenge for the talented young company, but as always they are rising to meet it. Cameron Cheek, who played Jean Valjean in last years sell out production of Les Miserables, takes on the lead role of Curly, and while the singing is almost perfected, the hair has some way to go!

Ideal for a family night out, Oklahoma is a perfect mix of fascinating characters, fantastic songs and even a dream ballet - what more could an audience ask for?
