It’s the 1930s and the passenger liner S.S. American is setting sail for England. On board is third rate gangster Moonface Martin, who with his moll, Bonnie, is trying to escape the clutches of the FBI. Add to these an American heiress, an English lord, a lovesick stowaway and an evangelical nightclub singer, Reno Sweeny, with her entourage, the shapely Angels, and the scene is set for fun, romance and thrills. With a witty libretto, and the incomparable music of Cole Porter you will find It’s Delovely, It’s the Tops and just about Anything Goes!
