Music is a very large part of The Maltings programme both in terms of performances and classes and activities.

It is our policy to enable local people to perform in front of a wide audience, encouraging talent that may not otherwise be recognised, whether in classical or popular styles. In addition our programme includes talented musicians from all over the UK and Northern Ireland, as well as the occasional visitors from overseas. Their styles are incredibly varied, and we try to find something to suit all tastes.
