We plan to start hosting our monthly Memory Laners dementia-friendly screenings in our Studio this Autumn (raked seating and also chairs and tables on a level floor), showing specially selected classic films. Everyone’s welcome, but especially those with dementia and their carers – a chance to sit back and relax, and share an hour or two of old-fashioned entertainment. We don’t show trailers or adverts, so films start promptly at 2pm. Doors will open 20 minutes before, so there’s plenty of time to find a seat.

We’re delighted to be working with North Northumberland Volunteers Forum on trialling regular social music sessions for a group of dementia sufferers and their carers through Autumn 2021. If successful, we hope to expand the programme through 2022.
