These dedicated screenings are open only to 13–18-year-olds, giving young visitors a space that’s designed with them in mind. From blockbuster releases to must-see favourites, Teen Screen puts young people at the heart of the cinema experience.

AGE POLICY:
This screening is strictly for ages 13 to 18. To keep this a dedicated space for young people, anyone outside this age bracket will be refused entry or asked to leave. If you look older than 18, please bring a student ID!
About Teen Screen
Teen Screen is part of a wider partnership between The Maltings and Berwick Academy, designed to give young people hands-on experience of working in film and the creative industries.
Our Young Film Programmers Club plays a key role in shaping the programme, selecting films they believe will appeal to local audiences aged 13–18. Alongside programming, participants gain practical experience in marketing, audience development and event delivery, helping to promote screenings and support their operation on the night.
The project provides a valuable insight into the many career opportunities available within the film, arts and cultural sectors, while empowering young people to take ownership of cinema events created by young people, for young people.
