Don't miss Sam & Isla next week at The Maltings as it returns after it's astonishingly successful debut in 2014!

This moving and uplifting story returns to commemorate the ending of The First World War. Packed with powerful songs, a tug-on-your heartstrings storyline and cast full of talented locals, this show is a must see.

"War epic deserving of many a standing ovation… Tideline Runners take things to a stratospheric new level with a show that conjures up every human emotion…" - The Berwick Advertiser

Since producing our April - October 2018 brochure, there have been significant changes to our upcoming event The Great Song of The North and we want to ensure you have the correct information to hand.

The Great Song of The North Procession will start at 4pm and The Great Song of The North Concert now takes place in our Main House Theatre at 5.30pm.

These events were also listed as costing £20 a ticket, however now, thanks to the generosity of Northumberland County Council, this spectacular community event is FREE.

The Maltings opened in 1990 on a mission to ensure audiences across North Northumberland and the eastern Scottish Borders have access to the highest quality arts and entertainment on their doorstep.
We work at the heart of our community, engaging as many people as we possibly can – young and old, locals and visitors.

We pride ourselves on being a welcoming destination all year round for the very best in film, comedy, theatre, children's shows, music, opera, dance, workshops, youth theatre and community events.
Our Berwick Visual Arts initiative delivers distinctive exhibition programmes, artist residencies, and learning activities at the town’s Granary and Gymnasium Galleries.
The Maltings is a not-for-profit charity, funded by Arts Council England and Northumberland County Council to ensure the broadest possible range of events and activities.
Most of our ticket income goes straight back to the performers and producers so we’re extremely grateful to our funders, donors, business patrons, and the Friends of The Maltings for their much needed and highly valued support.

If you ever experience any difficulties purchasing tickets online, please contact our Box Office on 01289 330 999 and a member of our team will be happy to help you.
