Opening in the desert Southwest in 1957, Indy and sidekick Mac (Winstone) escaped with their lives after a close scrape with Soviet agents on a remote airfield. On returning to Marshall College, Indy finds a less than warm reception. His only chance to win back his place at the University is to team up with rebellious drifter Mutt (LaBeouf) to find the famed Crystal Skull of Akator. As Indy and Mutt set out for the remote corners of Peru they quickly realise they are not alone in their search. Soveit agents are hot on the trail, including the cold and beautiful Irina Spalko (Blanchett). Can the intrepid two stop the eerie and powerful skull falling into the wrong hands?
