Kung Fu obsessed teen Jason (Angarano) finds an antique golden staff in a Chinese pawn shop. With the lost relic in hand, he is transported to an ancient China, a land of mystery and great warriors. Jason finds he is not the only one with an interest in the staff as he becomes drawn into the battle between drunken kungfu master (Chan) and enigmatic and skillful Silent Monk (Li) for the power of the staff.
