ARTIST ROOMS Young Associate

Berwick Visual Arts and Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival are delighted to offer a brilliant opportunity for a young person (aged 18-24) living in Berwick or the surrounding area to assist the production of Berwick Youth Project’s moving image installation as part of Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival this September.

‘The Hurt Goes On’ is a collection of moving image works created by 12 young people at Berwick Youth Project over a series of sessions with Newcastle-based Film Bee artist collective.

The project is supported by ARTIST ROOMS a touring collection of over 1,600 works of modern and contemporary art by more than 40 major artists, jointly owned by the National Galleries of Scotland and Tate.

Berwick Visual Arts is currently presenting two works by Scottish artist Douglas Gordon, at The Gymnasium Gallery, which has been the starting point for ‘The Hurt Goes On’.

Find out more about the post and how to apply HERE.
