This eagerly anticipated sequel to the Oscar-winning hit finds tap-dancing penguin Mumble (voice of Elijah Wood) and his pals trying to use their smooth moves to save the penguin nation.
Mumble and his true love, Gloria (voice of pop star Pink replacing the late Brittany Murphy), have started a family of their own. Their young son, Erik, is just finding his footing among his fellow emperor penguins when a dire new threat thrusts their future into jeopardy. Mumble must try and unite the penguin nation in order to dance the darkness away.
Writer/director George Miller (Babe) and star Robin Williams also return in this sequel, which also features the voices of Hank Azaria, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Sofía Vergara.
