Adult Landscape Photography Workshop with Stephen Whitehorne

Join renowned Landscape and Nature photographer Stephen Whitehorne as he leads two very special workshops for ages 16+ at The Maltings this summer.

Structured in a way that makes both experienced enthusiasts and keen amateurs feel comfortable, Stephen's sessions start with a highly informative talk looking at the theory behind taking a great photograph as well as personal examples of his work, demonstrating the points he makes. This then leads on to a two hour practical session in which you'll get the chance to put theory into practise and take tips and advice whilst on location.

Some experience of working with (D)SLR/Bridge cameras is necessary, but anyone with even a basic understanding of apertures and ISO will find themselves at home in these friendly and welcoming workshops.

Priced at just £40 per day (discounted to £32.50 per day when registering for both sessions) this really is an opportunity for anyone with an interest in creating stunning landscape photographs of our beautiful north Northumberland and Scottish Border surroundings to take their photography to the next level. With only 10 spaces available, act fast or miss out!

Thursday 31 July:
10am - 12pm (Talk/slideshow/theory),
12.30pm - 2.30pm (Practical session)
Friday 1 August:
5pm - 7pm (Talk/review of previous day's work/theory on working with light and using colour)
7.30pm - 9.30pm (practical on location – to photograph during the ‘Golden Hour’ at the end of the day, weather permitting of course!)

Participants will be required to bring:
* (D)SLR/Bridge camera
* Camera manual (hard copy)
* Tripod (if they have one)
* Any work they'd like to review/discuss
* An EMPTY memory card
