Maltings Cinema Celebrates a Blockbuster Summer at New Venue

We are thrilled to announce a successful transition and celebration of a new era at our brilliant new venue, Maltings Cinema at Berwick Barracks. The magic of the movies has never been stronger, with a record-breaking summer fuelled by a significant increase in audience attendance and an expanded film programme.

Great sign of wellbeing at Hauxley

Visitors to Northumberland Wildlife Trust’s Hauxley reserve will now be able to admire a new signpost donated by artist Emily Cropton. The sign was created as part of an eight-month research residency commissioned by The Maltings (Berwick) Trust and Newcastle University’s Centre for Rural Economy, Institute for Creative Arts Practice and Population Health Sciences Institute.
