The Maltings is a charity - we're not here to make a profit, but to use every resource we can possibly access to deliver the very best programme we can and to help our community enjoy direct experience of the arts as both audiences and participants.
Our programme of live events, film, workshops, youth theatre and community performances wouldn't be possible without the on-going generous support of our ticket-buyers, funders, patrons, Friends and business sponsors. We're very grateful to all of them.
As well as buying tickets, you can play an extra part in securing our future success in a number of ways...
Become a Friend of The Maltings
We'd love for you to be our Friend, it's by far one of the easiest and most rewarding ways to support your local theatre. To find out more about becoming a Friend click HERE.
Make a Donation
When you buy a ticket online or at box office, please consider donating to our Maltings Youth Theatre. We rely on raising additional funds to pursue cutting-edge, adventurous programming, nurture “unproven” new talent and serve minority tastes with shows. Please email our Chief Executive, Matthew Rooke, if you are interested.
The Maltings benefits from the assistance of around 35-40 volunteers at any one time. We could not continue to operate without volunteer help. We are always eager to hear from potential volunteers. Most of our volunteers serve as stewards at all of our events and we always need more help. Stewards take tickets, seat customers and help to ensure our audience is safe.
If you would like to find out more about volunteering, and are age 18 or older, please contact our Theatre Manager, Shona Hammon, by email or telephone 01289 330 999.
Remember us in your will
We would be honoured if you would consider The Maltings when drawing up your will, you can help ensure the valuable work we do continues as part of your legacy. To arrange a confidential discussion or meeting, please contact our Chief Executive, Matthew Rooke.
