Youth Dance - with Gillian Irwin
Tuesdays: 4-5pm (ages 9-13), 5-6pm (ages 14-18)

"Within the professional environment of a real theatre and studio, gain the opportunity to experience and develop your own choreographic skills and personal technique. Classes have a contemporary dance base, but will always incorporate other styles; such as jazz, hip hop, ballet and more. Learn brand new routines, but also have a chance to make up your own!
No experience necessary, just come along and dance in a fun and friendly environment.
Bare feet, soft jazz shoes or ballet shoes. Get creative and let us see what dances we can develop together!"
- Gillian Irwin

Thursday Singers - with Alison Coates
Thursdays 10.30am - 12pm

Thursday Singers is a daytime group for people who like to sing. Everyone is welcome, from confident singers who read music, to those who may be unsure of their voice but who sing brilliantly in the shower! We are an amazingly friendly and supportive group, currently about twenty voices, led by Alison Coates, who brings a relaxed, fun approach to singing in harmony. There's no audition and you'll never be made to sing alone – unless you volunteer!  We perform at the end of each term for charity, usually in the Maltings foyer, but as our repertoire increases we plan to expand into the community.

For more information contact Alison Coates.

Tweed Music Centre
Saturdays with Alison Coates and Martin Fisher.
Cooke Suite

Orchestra 10-11am
A fun working atmosphere helps string players of any age  (violin, viola, cello or double bass) and wind players (flute oboe clarinet bassoon or saxophone) learn new pieces and new skills at the same time - playing in time, playing in tune, understanding music and most of all, listening. A great first step into ensemble playing. No especial requirements - if you can play three notes and can count, you can start. There is no audition and no having to play alone. NB these are not lessons and you need your own instrument.

Leader Alison Coates
Cost £4 per session
