Generation AIR by Spacecadets

Be transported into an exciting, mysterious world by Generation AIR

Experience giant inflatable interactive organisms made to fire your imagination.

Climb through, get busy with your fingers and watch what unfolds as your actions lead to delightful unexpected happenings.

Generation AIR is inspired by human biology and the cells and organisms inside us. Tunnels echo the materials that make up our bones and the cushions are like bloodcells sending oxygen around our bodies.

This brand new family-focused exhibition is an experience not to be missed!

Generation AIR was created by Spacecadets. They are artists, designers, inventors and experts in making temporary inflatable sculptures and environments.

Spacecadets’ out of this world work excites and unearths undiscovered parts of the imagination, transforming spaces and delighting audiences across the country.

The Generation Tour

The exhibition is part of Generation, a series of four family friendly exhibitions funded through Arts Council England’s Strategic Touring Programme.

The Generation Tour has been organised through a partnership of four arts organisations in Northern England – Berwick Gymnasium Gallery in Northumberland, Central Art Gallery in Ashton-under-Lyne, Durham Light Infantry Museum and Art Gallery and Towneley Hall in Burnley.
