The End of Oak Street follows the Platt family, whose 1982 suburban neighbourhood is suddenly transported millions of years into the past, forcing them to survive dinosaurs while searching for a wormhole that can return them home.
The story centers on Denise Platt, an aspiring novelist, her husband Greg, their children Audrey and Brian, and their dog Starbuck. Their strained family life is disrupted when Denise discovers a mysterious prehistoric plant in a neighbor’s yard, followed by strange animal remains and reports of unusual solar activity.
