The postholder will work closely with the CEO, General Manager, Head of Creative Engagement and Head of Visual Arts as part of our Senior Management Team in a growing and ambitious organisation, with high levels of delegated authority and the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the Trust’s future success.
The Head of Marketing & Development has dual responsibility for marketing and communications, and for fundraising. Securing new sources of funding to ensure we can fully realise our plans will be an immediate priority for the postholder.
They will also lead on company communications, market insights, sales, brand development and on the development of a whole-organisation digital strategy encompassing communications, sales, website, social media, content creation, etc to support the launch of the new Maltings venue in 2 to 3 years time.
Salary: c. £39,000 pro rata
Contract: permanent contract (6 month probationary period)
Hours: 35 hours a week; 25 days annual leave pro rata plus public holidays
Reports: freelancers, volunteers, etc
Flexible Working: Maltings core office hours are 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, although our venues are often open outside these hours for events ; we expect this role to require regular working outside core hours ; we’re willing to consider reasonable proposals for flexible and hybrid working, with a minimum of 3 days each week to be spent on site.
