The cinema experience – redesigned for parents
Big screen moments, with your smallest companion.
Introducing Baby Cinema – monthly screenings of the latest films in a relaxed, baby-friendly environment.
What is Baby Cinema?
Our Baby Cinema screenings are designed for parents, carers, grandparents and their little ones (up to 12 months), offering a relaxed and welcoming way to enjoy the latest films on the big screen.
We know that getting out to the cinema with a baby isn’t always easy – so we’ve created a space where you can feel completely comfortable.
What to Expect
The lights are kept softly raised so you can move around with ease, and the volume is slightly reduced to suit more sensitive ears. Films are shown with subtitles, so you can still follow along – even if there’s a little extra noise in the room.
These screenings are designed to be relaxed and flexible. You’re free to settle in however works best for you and your baby, whether that means feeding, soothing, or taking a moment out. Seating is unreserved, allowing you to move around the auditorium as needed and we’ll always ensure there is space to spread out when required.
And if your baby cries, that’s completely okay. Everyone in the room understands.
This is your time to unwind, catch up on films you’ve missed, and enjoy a shared experience with others in the same stage of life.
There are also accessible toilet and baby changing facilities available on-site, so you can take care of your baby’s needs easily during your visit.
How It Works
We host a dedicated Baby Cinema screening every month, featuring a new film each time – from the latest releases to must-see favourites.
Simply book your ticket, bring your baby, and settle in.
No stress. No judgement. Just great cinema.
FAQs
Who can attend?
Baby Cinema is open to parents, carers and grandparents – anyone attending with a baby under 12 months.
What if my baby cries?
That’s completely okay. These screenings are designed with babies in mind, so a bit of noise is expected – and everyone in the room will understand.
Can I feed my baby during the film?
Of course. You’re free to feed, move around and settle your baby in whatever way works best for you.
Do I need to book a separate ticket for my baby?
No – your ticket covers you and your baby under 12 months.
Is there space to bring a buggy?
We know heading out with a baby often means bringing a lot with you. As space in the cinema is limited, we encourage the use of slings, carry cots or car seats where possible.
If you do need to bring a pushchair, we ask that it’s left at the front of the auditorium during the screening, rather than in the gangways, so that emergency exits remain clear.
Is there space for my baby to move around?
Yes – if your little one needs a stretch or a change of scene, there’s space at the front of the cinema near the screen.
Will the film have subtitles?
Yes – all Baby Cinema screenings include subtitles, so you can still follow the film even if there’s a little extra noise in the room.
Will the films be suitable for my child?
Our Baby Cinema screenings are designed with a grown-up audience in mind, giving you the chance to enjoy films you might otherwise miss.
Because of BBFC guidelines, we can only screen films rated U, PG or 12A, which means not every new release will be suitable for this strand. During school holidays, we’ll aim to include more films that work for families attending together.
If you’re unsure, we recommend checking the BBFC website for guidance on film classifications, to help you decide what feels right for your child.
