Berwick Film Society: A New Kind of Wilderness

Tickets for this film will be available to book from Monday 1 September.

The dream of a smallholding becomes a reality for Norweigan/British family Nik, Maria and their children as they embark upon a new life of home schooling, living off their farmland, raising animals and exploring wild nature. It’s an exciting and challenging adventure and they take to it like ducks to water.

When the unexpected happens, supporting the children must be the priority, while finding and then navigating a pathway for the family to move forward through huge adjustments.

An open and big-hearted window into personal loss, this is a beautiful film with raw honesty at its core.
