Berwick Shines Community Choir

Maltings at Hide Hill  |  22 April – 10 June 2026

Come and sing with us!

Berwick Shines Community Choir is a welcoming, friendly choir for anyone who enjoys singing and wants to have fun in a relaxed environment. Running for 8 weeks on Wednesday evenings beginning on Wednesday 22 April, the sessions will be led by Rachel Dyson.

This choir is all about fun, accessibility, and enjoyment. People of all abilities are warmly welcome, whether you’ve sung in a choir before or are trying it for the very first time.

Together we’ll be singing Berwick songs and sea shanties, celebrating the area’s rich coastal and community heritage while enjoying the energy and spirit of singing together.

There’s no need to read music, as everything will be learned by ear, making it easy for everyone to take part and build confidence together. The focus is on sharing music, meeting new people, and enjoying the uplifting experience of singing as a group.

Whether you’re an experienced singer or simply curious to try something new, Berwick Shines Community Choir offers a supportive space to explore your voice and enjoy making music with others.
