Famed for her direct, compassionate and fearless journalistic skills and best known as the long-standing presenter of BBC’s Newsnight, Scottish journalist and broadcaster Kirsty Wark is one of the UK’s most recognisable faces (and voices).
Wark is known for going toe-to-toe with politicians – and has brought issues around the menopause and sexism into the public arena through her award winning documentary-making. However, she is just as passionate about books (she’s written two so far) and will discuss her own novels and what fiction impacted on her.
Kirsty will reflect on her life and share stories from her remarkable, decades long career, in conversation with Gerry Foley.
