We’re delighted to announce a special evening in the company of the infectiously entertaining HandleBards as they cycle, yes, cycle into The Maltings this September!

And, if you were lucky enough to see their version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream last summer, you’ll know that you are in for a treat with this year’s production of The Comedy of Errors.

One of Shakespeare’s classic comedies,  The Comedy of Errors is the hilarious tale of two sets of estranged twins brought together on the same island causing mayhem and mistaken identity (and manic costume changes a plenty).

Pedalling from venue to venue with all of their set, props and costumes on the back of their bikes, the HandleBards are a four-strong troupe of actors who are spending the summer bringing environmentally sustainable Shakespeare to venues across the UK.

Guaranteed to be a great night out,  this is Shakespeare at its most accessible and guaranteed to be great fun for everyone!
