Elaine Pygall School of Dance
The ‘Elaine Pygall School of Dancing’ was established in 2005 as a friendly children's dance school in the heart of Prudhoe. We provide opportunities for each and every child to grow their confidence and dance skills. Although fully inclusive of all our students, we do also encourage those with potential, to realise their dreams. Many of our students have successfully auditioned for parts in local theatre productions; some of our students are also training on the Advanced Training Program at Dance City; while some of our senior students have gone onto train full time at college; and other senior students have trained with Elaine to become teachers themselves. They pride themselves on the quality tuition they deliver which is evident in their consistently high exam results.

To encourage confidence and performance skills, full theatre shows are held bi-annually at local theatres, and the years in between a smaller scale show is held in a local school for classes not working towards exams. They also have Junior and Senior Company Dancers who perform at external events as well as some competitions. Dancers who are invited to join these teams usually train in all styles of dance and are very committed to their dancing.

Northern Stars Academy
They pride themselves on their professional dance standards in a fun, friendly but structured learning environment. They are diverse in their dance styles, classes and progression routes. All their classes develop a dancers technique, choreographic voice, performance skills, as well as, encouraging self expression and creativity.
The academy aims to provide the very best in dance training. They strive to inspire and motive our students to achieve and believe in themselves through the art of dance.

They are small company with big ideas, working with all people in dance with very effective methods. Their work consists of offering a way of finding out about our own bodies and minds and how they work. With an established history of intimate working Emma Hardman reaches the outmost possibilities with all of her clients. From professional dancers, 3 year olds just starting out, young people in SEN settings and older dancers we support inclusive practise and offer a creative outlet through movement to all. They specialise in performance and each year participants and engagement numbers range from 2000 to 10,000 people. Their performances are of very high quality, bringing in the best specialists in the fields of Music, Film, Dance and Visual Arts. After 12 years of Dansformation they have engaged people with dance in so many ways over 50 outdoor performances, rural locations.

Studio K
Studio K is a lifelong dream realized for owner and director, Kate (Lenaway) Undercoffer. From her elementary school days, dreaming of dancing on Broadway and directed her Barbie Dolls in recitals and musical productions to choreographing for college dance programs, Miss Kate has always loved the process of creating moving art.

Studio K opened it’s doors in August, 2005 and has welcomed thousands of students through the doors since. Offering classes in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, acrobatics, hip hop, kick line, musical theatre and more, from ages 2 through adult, Studio K has become a second home for dancers and families alike.
Studio K as a family is very passionate about supporting Dancers Against Cancer, Make-A-Wish and local families/organizations in need.
Their mission is to provide a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere where children can learn not just to dance but to hopefully discover a love of music, movement and art. They pledge to give dancers and families a safe, nurturing learning atmosphere that offers quality instruction
